Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany return respectively to reprise their title roles in the streaming series, WandaVision. They will be joined by a character previously introduced in MCU, this time around played by a new actress.
This new interpretation comes courtesy of Teyonah Parris (If Beale Street Could Talk) as Monica Rambeau, daughter of Captain Marvel / Carol Danvers’ gal pal and fellow Air Force pilot Maria Rambeau. Lashana Lynch played Maria in Captain Marvel while young Monica was played by Akira Akbar. The difference being the Disney+ series will see Monica all grown up in the current timeline of the MCU. We’ll have to wait and see what could be in store for her. WandaVision arrives Spring of 2021.
